AAPDB Breeder Registration

Canine Country Co. is a registered Business (ABN: 70 920 366 786) and a full registered breeder with the Australian Association of Pet Dog Breeds (AAPDB No. 16947). We have a NSW Breeders Identification Number and all our dogs are registered with our local council.

The AAPDB promotes ethical, responsible breeding of healthy family pets, and believes that health and suitability as a pet is more important than having a long pedigree or winning a competition. The AAPDB does not regulate what members breed, but rather how they breed their dogs, how they sell their dogs, their after sales obligations and whether the dogs they breed are suitable for the families who purchase them. Full Members of the AAPDB have undertaken the AAPDB animal focused welfare Audit carried out by an independent registered Veterinarian and found to be compliant in all areas (as outlined by the Department of Primary Industries NSW the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979, the Exhibited Animals Protection Act 1986 and the Animal Research Act 1985).

Note: please be aware of puppy scams and people using my AAPDB number, it happens often. Things so pick up on a scam or someone using my number include:

  • Different location to ours (not advertised in either Nyngan or Dubbo)
  • They don't want to talk over the phone
  • Can't provide a number of different photos or videos of puppies and parents
  • They can't give you exact information about each puppy
  • They don't have much knowledge about DNA testing, health of parents
  • Are vague with information (vaccination dates, microchip numbers)
  • They may try to organise transport with a made-up company
